We hope you love your purchase! If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help within the guidelines below. Please review our return policy carefully before initiating a return.
In-Store Purchases
In-store purchases may be returned within 14 days of purchase for store credit or exchange only. Store credit never expires and can be used online or in-store.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unworn, unused, and in original condition

With tags attached

Accompanied by the original receipt
Online Orders
Online orders may be returned within 14 days of delivery, based on the carrier’s tracking confirmation.
All approved online returns are issued as store credit only. Store credit never expires and may be used online or in-store.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Returned in original packaging when possible
Items showing signs of wear or damage will not be accepted.
How to Start a Return
For online orders, please email us at hello@the-sailorsdaughter.com with your order number and reason for return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
In-store returns must be made in person within the return window.

Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

Final sale items will be clearly marked at the time of purchase. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Return Shipping (Online Orders)
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Lost Packages
We are not responsible for lost packages. The customer is responsible to correspond with the shipping carrier for assistance.
Order Cancellations/Changes
If you would like to cancel your order, we can do so within one hour of purchase. Please email us at hello@the-sailorsdaughter.com to cancel or change your order. We reserve the right to refuse a cancellation.
